Renda J. Songer MPA, M.Ed. ED.S.

Texas Regional Pathways Network WDA 4 Regional Convener Lead

Renda is a seasoned educator and administrator who has served as the  been the Executive Director of FACT Education since 2017. .  She attended Tarleton State University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and her Master’s Degree in Public Administration. She ventured into K-12 education unexpectedly as a high school teacher for Mesquite ISD. Family moves propelled a journey through Palestine ISD, Keller ISD, and then Community ISD. While at Community ISD, Renda worked with an innovative, stellar team of school leaders including the Region 10 Superintendent of the year for 2019, to restructure and create innovative CTE programs and College and Career Readiness Strategies that increased CTE funding by more than 1 million dollars, and transformed the once “C” rated district into an “A” rated district over the course of 2 years. 

Renda left Community ISD to work for the Region 10 Education Service Center as a CTE Specialist and Grant Writer. Finally, her last official stop in K-12 was at Farmersville ISD as the Director of State & Federal Programs.

Shelby D. Honeycutt B.S., M.Ed.

Shelby is an experienced educator and educational consultant who holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Tarleton State University, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. She has worked with schools, districts, and organizations across the United States to improve teaching and learning outcomes. Shelby has a range of educational experiences working as a high school career and technical education teacher, career and technical education coordinator, and professional development consultant. Most recently, Shelby has used her organization and leadership talents with the Bloomboard team as a Program Manager. During her time there, she has been pivotal in ensuring learner success by managing deliverables and milestones throughout the client journey and serving as the bridge between clients, university partners, sales, the broader Client Success Team, and product development. Shelby is a highly-organized, logistical problem solver.  

Haley J. Crawford B.A., M.Ed.

Independent Consultant

Professional Development Provider

Haley is an experienced educator and consultant with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Texas State University and a Master's Degree in Education - Curriculum and Instruction Sam Houston State University. Haley has extensive experience in education as a Middle School ESL Teacher in Dallas ISD, LPAC/ESL Coordinator for Princeton ISD, and an independent consultant and professional development provider for FACT Education. As a bilingual professional, Haley has used her knowledge and skills to translate curriculum and advance knowledge around equity and equality for English language learner students. has extensive experience as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and consultant. She has developed curriculum and training programs for schools, universities, and corporations.
